A mix of rock sugar and rye whiskey with chopped fruit pieces added for extra flavour. Similar to a pre-mixed rye old fashioned. The company was founded in 1884 by Charles Jacquin, a Frenchman who emigrated to Philadelphia. Jacquin's' is owned by Chatam International Incorporated, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
